We are Liverpool! Tra La la la la!!!

Well then, you are not going to read any ‘we control our own destiny’ nonsense. No one controls destiny, but coming away from a trip to Mother Russia with all the points in our luggage is a big deal.
I was able to watch most of the first half on lunch at work today and we do look a different team. Kazan are not having a very good season and are not on top form, but a win with all that travel is a big deal, even if it wasn’t the most clinical performance.
The team is so much better organized under Klopp. Kazan never really looked like threatening today, but every time they got the ball it was short lived as the Reds worked diligently to win back possession, usually in short order.
If we can get two or three attackers to consistently be ruthless in front of goal we be even more menacing and difficult to take points from. Palace at the weekend, always a tough match for us, let’s hope Dwight Gayle doesn’t play!
